13th August - Lympsham, Somerset

Back at the house once again, I spent some time watching the fields around the house.  The number of Starling had definitely increased through the week, today I count sixty on the wires.  They would move between the field, the hawthorn bushes for the berries and back to the wires.

My objective this evening was to get a few more acceptable shots of the swallows as they hawked the insects over the yellow grass of the field.

Other birds seen were more House Martins and two Grey Herons in the field.

Our time at the Retreat was nearing an end, Lovely weather and wonderful to spend some quality time with the family
